David has 25 years of international experience across global brands, including Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Accor and Hyatt. David’s expertise lies in strategy and operations and is best known for business re-engineering creating increased asset value for owners. He has outstanding experience in renovations and redevelopments including successfully rebranding and repositioning international hotels into market-leading assets, including the iconic Sheraton Grand Sydney.
David heads Axsia HTL asset management with a portfolio including The Tasman Hobart, Ace Hotel Sydney, Mercure Melbourne Doncaster and 1Hotel Melbourne.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Auckland and holds a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management (Cornell University).
